Even a global pandemic couldn’t stop this project from shining.

Can Cocotero is the brainchild of architect Jordi Carreño in collaboration with interior designer Tara Bernerd. British-born Tara tells Vogue about the challenges that Covid restrictions presented, final placements of furniture and the dressing of the villa even took place over video calls and photo messages.

While Jordi and Tara took on the look of the villa itself, renowned Chilean landscape designer Andrea Sanchez was responsible for the garden. The result is a calm and serene space, with stunning ocean views and plenty of greenery.
